5 warm, 25 run, 5 cool
Got out there and did it. I was by myself so I just focused on me and the route. I slowed to a fast walk three times for about 30 seconds each. Other than that, it was the FGS all the way. I know it's not pretty but at least I'm moving, right? Right.
Still feeling a little pain and discomfort in my right ankle. I'm going to try tightening the wrap. If that doesn't work...I'll loosen it. :) Should I take an Aleve prior to running? More research is needed.

Saturday W6D2.5
W6D2.5
5 warm, 25 run, 5 cool
Ran this one with the kid. I was so distracted trying to pace myself and watch for traffic and figure out a route - we ended up too close to home with 10 minutes left to run. We called it "done" and walked our 5.
meh.
Perhaps I'll try again.

Thursday a 10! (2 of them) W6D2
W6D2
5 warm, 10 run, 3 walk, 10 run, 5 cool
It's really interesting to keep the same basic route and see how far I can go with different time frames. My usual old 3 min starting run would take me just past Amy's street - my first 10 run today took me all the way to the turn around and back toward V. Bolton's house.
Second 10 run takes me from the last leg of Wheeler Branch, across Beckett, up Abilene across Smokehouse and back down Wagon Train. I feel like I am really covering some ground.
Saw Abby and Snickers walking this morning. Got the wave and the, "Woo!" It was great.
Also, Robyn told me at lunch that Jenny is all, "What is with Ann and all the running?" (except in German.) Methinks I need to make an effort to post about other things for a bit.
Had to take 30 seconds to catch my breath on Smokehouse but ran strong for the remainder. I want to work on my breathing but focusing on it really messes me up. arg.
my C25K post: Oh W6D2 you don't even know what just hit you. It was ME!! Booyah!
Fit in 2012: this just in: Week 6 of my running program is my bitch.

Tuesday 4/3 W6D1
W6D1
5 warm, 5 run, 3 walk, 8 run, 3 walk, 5 run, 5 cool
I never thought I'd be able to run for 8 minutes. And now here I am having done it several times. I feel empowered and alive. Isn't that interesting?
This was my FB status update: Finished my run this morning and thought of a good friend - because I just kept thinking: Run Strong Run Strong Run Strong
and so I did.
This was my Fit in 2012 post: never thought I would be the girl who finds real self satisfaction in a t-shirt ringed with sweat around the sports bra...and yet here i am.
My C25K post: W6D1 today! humid outside this morning but I fought on and finished my last 5 pretty strong.
And this was posted in either the C25K group or the Fit in 2012 group and it cracked me up.
